Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 July 2026
CuzCardsNL is a Pokémon trading-card brand in the Netherlands. This privacy policy describes how the CuzCardsNL Dashboard — an internal content-management and social-media publishing tool — handles personal data. It is not a public consumer service: there is no sign-up, and it is used only by three internal administrator accounts to plan and publish CuzCardsNL's own social-media content.
Who is responsible
The controller for the processing described here is the operator of CuzCardsNL. Contact details are in the Contact section below.
What data we store and why
All data lives on a single computer (a Mac Mini) in the Netherlands, in a local SQLite database and on the local disk. There is no cloud database and no cloud object storage. We store:
- Administrator accounts — username, display name, role, and a securely hashed password (Argon2id). We never store passwords in plain text. Login and logout timestamps are recorded.
- Media files and their metadata — the photos and videos uploaded for publication, plus filename, type, category and dimensions.
- Captions, hashtags and planning — the text and schedule for posts.
- Per-platform publishing results — for each post, whether it succeeded on Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) or TikTok, the returned post ID/link, and any error message.
- An audit log — a record of administrator actions (e.g. logins, media deletions, account changes) for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics snapshots — engagement and reach figures pulled back from the platforms about CuzCardsNL's own posts.
The purpose of all of this is operating CuzCardsNL's own social-media presence: creating, scheduling, publishing and reviewing our own content.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Because the only individuals whose data is processed are the operators themselves (the three administrators), the processing rests on our legitimate interest in running the CuzCardsNL brand and on performance of our internal operating arrangements. Personal data of members of the public is not collected by this tool.
Sharing with third parties
To publish content, the tool sends data to the platforms you would expect, plus a small number of technical services. Specifically:
Meta — Instagram Business & Facebook Pages
When publishing to Instagram or Facebook, we send the media and the caption
text to the Meta Graph API. We request the permissions
instagram_business_basic,
instagram_business_content_publish and
pages_manage_posts (and, where enabled, read permissions such as
pages_read_engagement / instagram_manage_insights to
retrieve engagement statistics). Meta returns post IDs, permalinks and, where
available, reach/impression and like/comment figures, which we store locally.
TikTok
We integrate with the TikTok Content Posting API using the scopes
user.info.basic and video.upload. Videos are uploaded
to TikTok as an unpublished draft that a person then finishes
and posts inside the TikTok app; we do not use Direct Post. We send the video
and its title/caption. We do not request any analytics or
read scope, so no TikTok statistics flow back to us.
X (Twitter)
When publishing to X, we send the media and the tweet text via the X API.
Temporary public media hosts
Instagram (and TikTok photo carousels) require a publicly reachable URL for each image or video. Because the tool runs locally, at publish time each media file is uploaded to an anonymous public file host to obtain such a URL. The primary host is catbox.moe; fallbacks are uguu.se, 0x0.st, litterbox and tmpfiles.org. Note that catbox.moe stores files indefinitely (there is no automatic expiry), so a copy of published media can remain on that host until it is manually removed; the fallback hosts expire after roughly one to three hours. See Data Deletion for how to request removal.
Telegram
Our internal approval workflow sends caption text and media to the administrators through the Telegram Bot API so a post can be reviewed and approved before it goes out.
Cloudflare
Traffic to this website passes through Cloudflare, which acts as our TLS/edge proxy. Cloudflare therefore processes visitor requests in transit.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not use the data for advertising or ad targeting.
- We do not track website visitors: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics, and no third-party fonts, scripts or CDNs are loaded. The only cookie is our own first-party session cookie for the administrator login.
- Captions are generated by a local AI model (Ollama), running on the same machine — caption text is not sent to any external AI service.
Retention
We are honest about this: at present the tool does not automatically delete old data. Deleted media are moved to a local trash folder rather than being erased; deleted posts are soft-deleted and kept as a record; and the audit log and analytics snapshots grow over time. Data is therefore retained until it is removed manually or on request. We intend to add automatic clean-up (for example, thinning analytics snapshots after 90 days), and will update this policy once that is in place. To have your data removed now, see Data Deletion.
Security
- Passwords are stored only as Argon2id hashes.
- The site is served over HTTPS (TLS terminated at the Cloudflare edge).
- Access is limited to three administrator accounts; there is no public registration.
- Sessions use signed, stateless cookies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us (see Contact). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Nederlands
Privacyverklaring
Laatst bijgewerkt: 28 juli 2026
Wie is verantwoordelijk
Meta — Instagram Business & Facebook Pages
instagram_business_basic,
instagram_business_content_publish en
pages_manage_posts (en, waar ingeschakeld, leesrechten zoals
pages_read_engagement / instagram_manage_insights voor
statistieken). Meta geeft post-ID's, permalinks en waar beschikbaar
bereik-/impressie- en like-/reactiecijfers terug, die we lokaal opslaan.
TikTok
- Sessies gebruiken ondertekende, stateless cookies.
Jouw rechten
